Every reptile will thrive better in an environment much
like the one they come from. However, every reptile is
going to be different so it is very important to find
out where your reptile came from and what they need to
feel right at home. Some reptiles thrive better in a humid
environment and some reptiles can only survive in a dry
environment. Other reptiles live in a cage while others
live in an aquarium. It is extremely important to know
which one is best for your reptile, as reptiles can live
in captivity for up to 20 years.
Reptiles should have the appropriate lighting, humidity,
and terrarium size and substrate water to survive a long
healthy life.
Feeding Your Reptile
First, research what your reptile can eat. Some reptiles
can only have vegetables and leafy greens; others can
have meat and live prey while others can have both. They
should also be set on a regular feeling schedule.
Finally, get to know your reptile. Eventually, through
taking care of them you will start to see their patterns,
